My Arowana has spots on the tail, what should I do?

This happened when your water has contaminated with bacteria.

  • Change the water 20-30%
  • Add salt to cure the problem and medicine. Please ask your fish shop about the water medicine or the fish medicine.
  • Check the pH regularly

If it doesn’t heal please email me and I will assist you with further help.

It is up to you whether you want to decorate your tank. We would say “No”, as Arowanas like open space where they can swim around the tank without any plants or models.

Do not change all of your water, change 30-50% of your water. Do not add hot water to the tank. Add cold water only. You can add warm water if the water in the tank is very cold.
